How to Become Involved

How to Become Involved

The advisory group is excited about the future of the CLE and we look forward to working with all members, those seeking leadership education and those experienced with leadership programs as well as reaching out to other knowledge communities and allied organizations as we move forward. As a new knowledge community we can use your help and have three ways to get started right away.

  1. Write your experiences with leadership programs

Anecdotally we know members who have participated in leadership programs. Please take the time to write a brief paragraph of your experiences with a leadership program, local or national, through your community or other agencies.
Provide one or two examples of the most valuable leadership moment during the program, and how it changed you or benefited your profession or society at large. Selected entries will be published on the CLE Web page.

    Submit your leadership program experience

  2. Become a member of the committee

As a new community we are actively looking for AIA members from all regions of the country who are interested in serving on CLE committees and creating a network to exchange information on leadership education. Committees include communication, outreach, research, resources, and professional development.

    Learn more about the subcommittees

    Request information by e-mail

  3. Complete a questionnaire on leadership education
