Virginia Elaine Marquardt, AIA | Notes of Interest

Her résumé is packed with abundant evidence of involvement, engagement, dedication, and success in strengthening the Institute at every possible level of leadership. Since joining DLR Group, Virginia has been a model and an inspiration in her passionate commitment to the growth of the next generation of architects. With her hard work and selfless commitment, she has been designated as a future leader in the firm, including a position as an associate member of the DLR Group K-12 Forum. Her natural abilities have led to her involvement with intern development and the launch of the firm’s Intern Development Program (IDP). She served as the Phoenix IDP coordinator and is launching the next iteration in the California offices.

She is a skilled project manager who is able to lead her team, including the client, to project success and profitability. She has an uncanny ability to think far ahead of instruction, anticipating the needs of the project and finding ways to motivate her team to excel.
