Awards Program

The American Institute of Architects has a long tradition of recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in support of the profession of architecture and the AIA. Learn more about AIA National awards programs, submission information, and deadlines.

    AIA 25-YEAR AWARD

This award, recognizing architectural design of enduring significance, is conferred on a project that has stood the test of time for 25 to 35 years. The project must have been designed by an architect licensed in the United States at the time of the project's completion. AIA members, AIA components, and knowledge communities are urged to submit projects completed between 1975 and 1985 that have contributed meaningfully to American life and architecture.

AIA ANNOUNCES 2010 INSTITUTE HONOR AWARDS

The Institute Honor Awards program recognizes achievements for a broad range of architectural activity to elevate the general quality of architecture practice, establish a standard of excellence against which all architects can measure performance, and inform the public of the breadth and value of architecture practice.

To achieve these goals, the 2010 Institute Honor Awards program has three divisions: Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Regional and Urban Design.
