Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum, Houston
Architect: Francois de Menil
In the 1980s, two 13th-century Byzantine frescoes were stolen from a chapel in Lysi, Cyprus. The fragments, ripped from the chapel's dome and apse, were later recovered and restored. The chapel museum was designed and built to house the restored frescoes.
