1735 NY Avenue Investments, LLC
In December 2020, the AIA Board approved the formation of 1735 NY Avenue Investments LLC (“1735 Investments”) to strategically manage the proceeds from the sale of the AIA Contract Documents business unit. The overall goal is to achieve long term capital growth and match the needs of anticipated funding requests or periodic disbursements at an acceptable risk tolerance to support the mission of the AIA. - Meet budget requirements: Providing a termed, annual contribution to the AIA to support annual operating requirements and affiliate organizations.
- Long-term: Establishing a core investment corpus to achieve a Long-Term Investment Return (LTIR) to support AIA in perpetuity.
- Mitigate risks: Generating investment portfolio guidelines designed to preserve capital and mitigate potential risks.
- Support future opportunity: Ensuring liquidity to meet cash needs and other business opportunities that may arise from year to year.
