AIA Board of Directors Message to Members Affected by the California Wildfires
On behalf of AIA’s Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those impacted by the devastating wildfires in Southern California. Our thoughts are with you, your families, and your communities as you face this unimaginable loss of life, property, and stability.
We recognize the profound toll these wildfires have taken on our members and the places they call home. The destruction of neighborhoods, businesses, and lives leaves a lasting impact that will take time to process and repair.
AIA remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting you during this challenging time. We are in close contact with AIA Los Angeles, AIA Pasadena & Foothill, AIA San Fernando Valley, AIA Long Beach/South Bay, AIA Ventura County, AIA California, and many of our affected members to better understand the evolving needs on the ground. Together, we are coordinating resources and assistance, like the AIA Disaster Assistance Program, to offer meaningful support. We are committed for the long term to ensure that architects lead the way in rebuilding these devastated communities and shaping a stronger, more resilient future.
As the situation develops, we will provide timely updates to our AIA community on opportunities to contribute to recovery and rebuilding efforts. Please know we stand with you and are here to help in any way we can.
AIA is a community. Our shared foundation as a community reminds us that in times like these, we come together to support and uplift one another.
