Gloria Kloter, AIA, is a transformative architect, mentor, and advocate whose leadership has reshaped pathways for immigrant architects, women, and young professionals in the field. As Founder and CEO of Glow Architects, Gloria has built a practice grounded in inclusivity, resilience, and community impact, while simultaneously championing systemic change across the profession.
Drawing from her personal journey from the Dominican Republic to the United States, Gloria has dedicated herself to supporting others through mentorship and leadership. She serves as the Architect Licensing Advisor for the State of Florida, where she has guided thousands of candidates toward licensure, and founded the influential Foreign Architects Community, a global network helping immigrant architects thrive in the U.S.
Her leadership extends nationally as Director of Programs for the Immigrant Architects Coalition, co-hosting the IAC Podcast Licensing Series and co-authoring two celebrated books—City Shapers and Prospering in the US. She also founded and continues to lead initiatives like the Women in Architecture Tampa Bay Committee, the Young Architects Forum Tampa Bay, and mentorship programs across Florida, creating spaces for professional development and advocacy.
As an author of The Architecture of Motherhood, a best-selling and award-winning book, Gloria has inspired women to embrace career and motherhood without compromise, reinforcing her broader mission of empowerment through storytelling and actionable strategies.
