Here’s everything you need to know about enrolling in AIA’s Dues Installment Program. Enroll in the program when you join AIA or renew your membership between October 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024.

The Dues Installment Program splits your membership dues into six monthly installments. Enroll when you join as a new member or renew your existing membership.
Enrollment is open to most AIA membership categories. Enroll between October 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024. All installments must be paid by September 30, 2024.

Members must enroll in the Dues Installment Program when they join, renew, or reinstate. During the online payment checkout process, select “Dues Installment Program” to enroll.
Enrolling members will be charged a $40 service fee to participate in the program, which will be equally divided among your six installments.
You may enroll in the 2024 dues installment program between October 1, 2023, and April 30, 2024.
The first installment payment will be processed upon enrollment. Thereafter, the member's credit or debit card will be automatically charged on the last day of the month for the next five months.
Members will receive an automated email confirmation. Once you’ve enrolled in the program, you cannot adjust the payment schedule.
You must enroll with a credit card with an expiration date later than September 30, 2024.
You are eligible for the program if you have received a 2024 dues renewal invoice, you are a reinstating member, you are a new member (includes Associate New Graduate member), or you received a dues adjustment waiver that has been approved by the AIA Secretary.
You are not eligible to enroll in the program if you do not have a 2024 dues invoice or are not joining for 2024, you have not completed your continuing education requirements under the Continuing Education System (CES) Audit, or your membership is a State or Local Allied/Affiliate membership. State and/or Local Allied/Affiliate membership payments are not eligible for payment in the Dues Installment Program.
Only credit card or debit card payments are accepted for the Dues Installment Program.
If your credit card is declined, you will be dropped from the program if you become delinquent by two installments. In that event, your membership will become inactive and any remaining balance on your 2024 dues will become due and payable immediately.
The first installment payment will be debited immediately upon enrollment, regardless of the month in which you enroll in the plan. After the initial enrollment, your credit or debit card will be charged on the last day of the month.
Once you’ve enrolled in the program, you will not be able to adjust the payment schedule.
No, the program is available for members without regard to hardship.
You may update or change your credit card account by contacting the Member Support Center at (800) 242 3837, option 2.
Yes, your firm can enroll you in the installment program. Firms must enroll their members individually online and authorize a credit or debit account from which your dues can be paid.
You may cancel your participation in program at any time through a written request. When you cancel, any remaining balance on your 2024 dues will become payable immediately. Please email us to cancel your participation.
Yes, you may cancel your membership at any time through a written request to do so. AIA must receive full payment of your prorated dues until it receives your written resignation.
