Keys to classifying project files

Chapter 5.12
Explore how Renaissance 3 Architects organize their project files using the following classification system. Architecture firms can follow this structure or create a similar taxonomy to better manage their project files.
A sample project file system taxonomy
Organizing project files, whether paper or electronic, can be a formidable challenge for any firm. Renaissance 3 Architects, a firm of 15–20 employees, has developed the following taxonomy for its project files. Project architects use this checklist at the beginning of every new project, selecting the file folders that are likely to be needed. Administrative and IT staff can then set up the necessary file folders.
